“Stop and smell the roses”
“Take time to appreciate the view”
“It is easier to go down a hill than up, but the view is from the top”
This one is super cheesy:
“Winners take time to relish their work, knowing that scaling the mountain is what makes the view from the top so exhilarating”
Okay I’ll stop =)
There is this focus about “enjoying the view,” and I totally get it. It is about not always looking back, or freaking about the future, but taking moments in our lives to stop. Stop, be present, observe, and be thankful.
Here’s something I have been thinking about though, and touched on in my “About Calla Gal” section: We need to join in that view, relax for a sec, and be a part of it.
It’s like we spend time looking for positive things, and for things to be grateful for when we can also BE those things.
So instead of just doing this:
I can also take time to be a part of a nice view.
When you are grateful, happy, motivated, kind, and real people take notice. They want to be around you. They want to take a piece of your positive pie and get the recipe.
No longer are you just gazing out at what makes you feel all those things-you have become those very things that can influence others to feel the exact same way.
A little cycle of positive I suppose.
You see it, you be it, you are it, and you pass it on.
